How does the Pace of Innovation Affect the Quality of Creativity?

  • University of Westminster Business School 35 Marylebone Rd London NW1 5LS UK (map)

A marketing cafe hosted by University of Westminster Business School, featuring speaker Andrew Armour.

Question: How Does The Pace Of Innovation Affect The Quality Of Creativity? And What Role Does Collaborative Behaviour Play In Turning Ideas - Into Cash?

According to a Capgemini survey in 2012 whilst 86% of CEO's they surveyed agreed that innovation was led by collaboration, only 16% believed they had the right cultures to deliver it.

We often hear business executives proclaim that they value creativity but the pace of product development and short term strategies leaves little time for pioneering and exploration of the new.

Does a rapid pace and pressure hinder or enhance genuine innovation?

And would product development results improve if we could improve our collaborative behaviour?

Gregg Fraley and Indy Neogy are attending.
